Congratulations Judy!

About Judy:

My sister Jaye and I learned early in our childhood how to fill hours of playtime with reading, coloring and games, and we have never wanted to outgrow these happy pastimes!!  We live in different states now, but we get together fairly often and keep in touch daily by email, compare book lists of what we’re reading, set aside time for crayons and coloring books and when we are together, challenge each other at Scrabble!   Jaye introduced me to WONDERWORD in 2007; we both have a love for words and are addicted to puzzle solving!  Bored, however, is a word that could never be used to describe either of us!

I retired in 2007 as Exec. Asst. to Judge of County Probate Court, giving me time for lengthy lunches with the “Gabby Girls”, a group of friends originating in first grade!  I’m an avid flower gardener, into bird watching, photography, travel, and keeping my high school class connected through email and reunion planning.  I also volunteer with the hospital auxiliary, tutor third grade reading and enjoy Jazzercise classes.

My husband Herb and I met on the dance floor 41 years ago and we’ve been dancing ever since! We are members of ShagAtlanta Dance Club.  Our 37th anniversary is in June.  My next milestone is my 70th birthday in September.

The special joy in my life is my Wire Fox Terrier, Baxter, my son Scott’s dog prior to losing his battle with cancer in 2008.

Thank you so much!

Judy
